Dr. Prasanta Dhali hails from Joygachi, Habra, in West Bengal. His relationship with Sanskrit began early and grew into a lifelong academic pursuit — through a B.A. (Honours) in Sanskrit, an M.A. from Rabindra Bharati University, an M.Phil from Gour Banga University, and finally a Ph.D. in Sanskrit, awarded in 2026.
Along the way, he qualified the UGC NET examination twice, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic rigour. His research interests span classical Sanskrit texts, including published work on the philosophy of the Kaṭhopaniṣad and comparative studies on the Bhagavad Gita.
Fluent in Bengali, Sanskrit, Hindi, and English, Dr. Dhali has built his teaching around a simple belief — that Sanskrit and Bengali are living languages, not relics to be memorised. That philosophy now extends beyond the classroom, into content that brings these subjects to a much wider audience.
